Summer Wellness speaker series continues August 7
ONEIDA, N.Y. — The Oneida branch of the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley will host a musical journey through the history of American music on Monday, Aug. 7. “A Journey Through and Appreciation of American Music” will be presented by Hank Leo, CEO of the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley, a former disc jockey, music collector, enthusiast and historian.
The summer Wellness Speaker Series is sponsored by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.
The free presentation begins at 6 p.m. in the Oneida YMCA conference room, 701 Seneca St. Registration is not required. Food and beverages will be provided.
Leo has served as an executive producer on several YMCA recording projects and has worked with many national recording artists and Grammy winners.
His compelling storytelling and presentation will take the audience on a musical journey through the history of American music and its impact on our lives and introduce listeners to some music they may not have heard before.
